I had a great session at Minster from 5.30 onwards, despite the survival conditions and poor sail choice. Opted for 4.7 and rigged it badly in a hurry! Should have been on a 4.2. I had a bit of a mare initially with my 70ish litre k-bay, which I'm really not liking - but maybe I need to persevere with it a while longer. Changed up to the rocket and suddenly started having fun, even though it was technically too big for the conditions. Did some fun small jumps which felt very floaty. Had a few big spills to. It really felt like war out there at times! I was knackered after about an hour and a half, but it was well worth it! Great to see SteveE out again too! Felt shattered but happy on my drive down to Wales tonight. Bed now... Zzzz

P.S. The water was minging - a horrible brown soup full of debris, and smelly too. I'd rather not think about what was in it, especially after drinking a few pints of it!
